Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (the “Policy”) applies to purchases made through dodopin.com (the “Website”, “Platform” or “Service”).
The Service is operated jointly by:
VELCORE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED
A private company limited by shares incorporated in Hong Kong
Business Registration Number (BRN): 80005054
Registered address:
Unit 1603, 16th Floor, The L. Plaza
367–375 Queen’s Road Central
Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
and
FUTURE ONE TECHNOLOGY LTD
A company incorporated in the United Kingdom
Company number: 17083222
Registered address:
71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden
London, United Kingdom
WC2H 9JQ
These companies operate the Website together. That does not make both of them the seller of every order, and it does not authorise one company to collect the other’s customer payments.
Platform operators. VELCORE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and FUTURE ONE TECHNOLOGY LTD together operate the Website, the Dodopin brand and the shared support channels. A notice to legal@dodopin.com is a notice to both platform operators.
Seller of an order. The seller is the company that sells the product to you, issues the invoice and is responsible for that sale, including a statutory refund of that order:
- PayOp: the seller is FUTURE ONE TECHNOLOGY LTD, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom. PayOp collects that payment for FUTURE ONE TECHNOLOGY LTD.
- Stripe: the seller is VELCORE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. Stripe collects that payment for VELCORE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.
“Dodopin”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the seller of the order when the sentence is about a purchase, payment, delivery, refund or invoice. When the sentence is about the Website, the brand or shared support, those words mean the platform operators.
By completing a purchase you agree to this Policy, together with our Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in this Policy limits a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded in your country of residence.
1. Two different situations
A change of mind is not the same as a product that was not delivered or that is faulty.
- Change of mind means you no longer want a product that was delivered as described.
- A failed or faulty supply means the product was not delivered, the code or top-up was invalid, or the product lacked the quality or description we stated.
Rights that the law gives you for a failed or faulty supply do not depend on our approval. A goodwill refund, where we choose to help although the law does not require it, does depend on that choice.
2. Change of mind and immediate supply
Digital products are supplied electronically, often within seconds of payment.
Where the law gives you a short right to cancel a distance contract for a change of mind, that right ends only when the law’s own conditions are met. Completing a purchase does not, by itself, waive that right. A right that applies because the product was not delivered or is faulty is not waived.
In the United Kingdom, digital content that is faulty can still give you rights such as repair, replacement or a price reduction. Not every fault is an immediate full refund, and those rights are not something we may switch off.
In Türkiye, distance-contract withdrawal exceptions for services performed immediately, and for intangible goods delivered immediately, apply only in the cases the law states. We do not apply one worldwide rule of “always 14 days” or “never a refund”.
3. Before delivery
You may ask the seller to cancel an order that has not yet been delivered. Contact support straight away with the order number.
If the order has been paid and is cancelled before delivery, the seller refunds the price you paid for that order. The seller does not deduct its own payment-processing fee from that refund.
4. Failed or faulty supply
The seller will put the supply right, or refund, where:
- the product was not delivered;
- a code or PIN was invalid or unusable at delivery;
- a top-up was not credited to the game account you specified;
- you were charged twice because of a technical error; or
- the law otherwise requires a remedy.
Tell us the order number, what you received, and what went wrong. We may ask for a screenshot or the steps you took. We investigate the report. That investigation is not a power to refuse a remedy the law already requires.
5. When a change-of-mind refund is not made
Except where the law requires otherwise, the seller does not refund merely because:
- you changed your mind after a valid digital product was supplied and any statutory cancellation right has ended;
- the product description or region limits were stated and not followed;
- you entered the wrong account, server or quantity;
- a device or region limit was not promised;
- a third-party game suspended or banned an account; or
- the product was redeemed or used, where the law treats that use as ending a cancellation right.
6. How to ask
Contact support on dodopin.com and include the order number, the email used for the order, the product and what happened. Do this within a reasonable time, and sooner where the law sets a deadline.
If a fraud or sanctions check is open, we tell you that the order is on hold. A statutory refund of an undelivered order is not refused merely because a check is open. If the check shows the payment was unauthorised or abusive, the seller may refuse a refund to the person who misused the payment, as the law allows.
7. Amount, method and time
A refund required by this Policy or by law is the price you paid for that order. The seller does not deduct its payment-processing fee from that refund, and does not charge a fee to refund you.
The refund is sent back by the same payment method. Another method, including store credit, is used only if you expressly agree to it. Store credit is not a substitute the seller can choose instead of a money refund you are entitled to.
The seller starts the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the refund is due, or sooner if the law requires. The time your bank or payment provider then takes to show the money on your account is their time, not an extension of the seller’s duty to start the refund.
8. Chargebacks
You may ask your bank or card issuer to dispute a payment. Asking support first often resolves a failed delivery faster. Contacting support is not a condition that blocks that right.
If a dispute reverses a payment that was already refunded, or a product that was validly supplied and not legally refundable, the seller may recover the duplicated amount and may restrict further orders, to the extent the law allows.
9. Fraud
The seller may refuse a goodwill refund, and may contest an abusive dispute, where there are reasonable grounds to believe the payment or the refund request is fraudulent. That does not remove a remedy for a product that was not delivered.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when published on the Website, unless a different date is stated. The Effective Date at the top is the date of the current version.
11. Contact
For cancellation or refund requests, use the official support channels on dodopin.com, or email legal@dodopin.com for legal correspondence.
